Does potassium fluoroaluminate react with sodium chloride?

In the field of metallurgical technology, in particular, it relates to a high-efficiency refining agent for aluminum alloys with high iron calcium aluminate content, whose refining agent components include sodium chloride, potassium chloride, potassium fluorosilicate, sodium fluoroaluminate, light sodium carbonate, calcium fluoride, hexachloroethane, sodium sulfate, potassium fluoroaluminate and quartz sand; The weight fractions of the refining agent components are: 10-25 parts of sodium chloride, 5-12 parts of potassium chloride, 6-18 parts of potassium fluosilicate, 10-18 parts of sodium fluoroaluminate, 5-10 parts of light sodium carbonate, 10-20 parts of calcium fluoride, 12-15 parts of hexachloroethane, 15-18 parts of sodium sulfate, 17-20 parts of potassium fluoroaluminate and 15 parts of quartz sand. The aluminum alloy high efficiency refining agent provided by this application has the advantages of small dosage, good effect of impurity and gas removal, simple post-treatment, etc.

A metal additive that can be added to aluminum melt with high yield and fast dissolution rate. The additive consists of a mixture of the following components :(a) aluminum powder, such as industrial pure lead powder; (b) one or more metal or alloy powders composed of one or more added metals, such as manganese, chromium, tungsten, molybdenum, titanium, vanadium, iron, cobalt, copper, niobium, tantalum, zirconium, hafnium and silver; (c) Flux such as one or more of potassium fluoroaluminate or potassium cryolite, potassium chloride, potassium fluoride, sodium chloride, sodium fluoride or sodium carbonate. The best form of the product is made by pressing the additive (A), (B) and (C) into a cake with 5%, 75% and 20% by weight, respectively. The potassium fluoroaluminate additive is particularly suitable for adding one or more metals to an aluminum melt according to the method of the invention. An aluminum alloy containing one or more added metals can be prepared by the method of the invention.

Potassium is a very reactive metal, and if it's in a sodium chloride solution, it's going to react with water first, and sodium is going to react with water, so they don't react, but they're going to react with water.
